Our Partner and Head of Employment and Data Protection practices, Nikola Cincović, held a webinar organized by the leading regional HR community, HR World Adria.

Nikola spoke on what HR professionals need to know about data protection including how to determine an appropriate legal basis for data processing, how to properly notify employees and job candidates on data processing, when to enter into data processing agreements and for how long personal data should be kept.

His presentation also covered various data protection issues which commonly occur in HR processes, with the focus on background checks, video surveillance and specific COVID 19-related data processing operations.
